Posted by Mariah Brown on Aug 6th 2021
With the ever changing fads of interior decorating, there are a few styles that can be considered as touchstone designs because they seem to always stick around, no matter what other trends are coming and going.
In this article we highlight Coastal, Luxury and Farmhouse looks with a twist that are sure to catch people’s eyes using some of our favorite furniture picks which can all be found under any of the tabs on the home page of our website. We matched each of these styles to pieces that bring a different life to an expected look so you can set your living space apart from anybody else's.

Coastal PNW:
One of the interior design styles we think will truly stay around for a while, is Coastal. So, we wanted to give it a hint of the PNW’s warmth to make you feel like you're in a beachfront house on the coast of Washington looking out at those soft and sandy beaches. This homey yet vacay vibe comes together when you match the creamy neutrals of the 519 Stanton Sofa and the rich browns of the Kona Grove Collection to airy blues and natural wood accents.
Inspiration for designing this room came to me when thinking about my time spent in Ocean Shores, WA and all the different beach homes I visited. The rooms that always stood out the most always made you feel welcome while encouraging adventure. What I love most about the PNW coastal look is how well the neutrals and pale blues mesh with the lush greenery to truly bring nature's pallet inside. Complete Suite Furniture & Mattress has all of your favorite Coastal + PNW inspired items available online or in store.

Cozy Luxury:
Styles come and go, but at Complete Suite Furniture we believe the look of Luxury is something people will try to achieve for years to come. We wanted to put luxurious pieces together without compromising the room’s Cozy feel. This room gives off modern, professional, and wise characteristics, all while inviting you to lounge and make yourself at home.
Crisp color and design of the Stanton 376 Sectional acts as an anchor for the room, while the silver and navy accents help to lighten up the atmosphere, bringing a sense of adventure in. Adding different textures such as the top grain leather Hampton Fiero Chair to the fabric of the Stanton sectional, help to make the room feel more like a home rather than an all too modern hotel lobby. Don’t forget to include the soft throws and fluffy pillows to give it that finishing touch.

Scottish Farmhouse:
A very trendy style found in many homes around the PNW, is the lovely Farmhouse design. We think it is a look that can easily be transformed using your own unique preference. Typically, a farmhouse styled space consists of décor that is practical and simple with a touch of rustic warmth. Since there are so many people going with this style for their home, we at Complete Suite Furniture want to show you how to make it stand out. Wanting to add some striking yet elegant patterns, we turned to Scottish textiles and classy accent pieces. Deriving from Glenurquhart valley in Scotland, Glen Plaid ended up being the perfect textile choice to complement the calm white and creamy tones that make up the rest of this room. One of our favorite furniture manufactures, Stanton has the perfect Glen Plaid fabrics adorned on the Wingback Chair, Ottoman and Pillows pictured here with the 493 Sofa.
The final step to completing this look is choosing the right wall art and small décor. Putting hints of muted and subtle colors can add personality to the space without straying too far away from the farmhouse appearance. Here, the Jumana Wall Art, a small colorful blanket and the Joao Natural Rug do just the trick!
